The Palazzo Massimo (Massimo Palace) was created in 1532 to replace a Rome palace that was destroyed several years earlier.
Rome's Palazzo Massimo (Massimo Palace) contains four floors, full of fine works of antique art. Highlights at the Palazzo Massimo (Massimo Palace) include a wonderful collection of portraits, mosaics, and sculptures of Rome's imperial villas. The Aula Ottagona ex Planetarium is also well worth visiting.
